First, is there a way to play .wmv files on the Mac.
Yes, with Windows Media Player - the road you started down . . .
Second, if not, is there a third-party package that can process
.wmv files and that can be installed on the Mac as a normal app.
Also flip4mac.com have a $9.99 US QT component for playing wmv in QT
player/plug-in. I much prefer playing WMV in the QT Player than in
the WM player on OS X.
