Adding background music to a web page...

Hello all,

I want to add background music to a web page and for me doing this using QT
is the easiest. I am wondering if using QT is the best method to allow most
users to be able to hear the music. Is there are more "universal" way -
such as just embedding an mp3 (or some other format) file and letting the
user's browser figure out how to play it?

Is QuickTime really that prevalent on PCs these days -- I know iTunes and
AOL has helped spread QT to PCs but is it safe to use QT and expect the
widest audience to be able to hear it?

Thanks!

Triton
