I know this used to mean Windows, but not sure how "PC" is now
defined. If PC stands for Personal Computer, this would include Macs,
and even desktop Linux.
If the Macromedia survey refers only to Windows PCs, the results
can't be right. Wiindows Media Player is installed with Windows by
default, except for the recent EU WM-free version, which I am not
sure if many people are buying. And WM can't be un-installed. So, how
could Flash Player have a higher penetration, as it is not always
found on new computers, and not everyone would bother to install it?
The NPD (not Macromedia) survey allegedly refers to all OSs.
Just curious, is there a lot of podcasting taking place in Italy?
Not so much, as far as I know. Or at least not so pervasively much as I
read for US.
What is the most popular podcast aggregator client on PCs there?
Never heard about "podcast aggregator client", sorry.
Is iTunes popular on PCs in Italy, based on your observations?
It is becoming known, but not so much used, based on my observations.
