When captioned movies are viewed cross platform, the captions appear much bigger when viewed with Quicktime 5&6 than with Quicktime 6.5 & 7. There's a substantial difference, so if you prep on Quicktime 6.5 (like we did) you can loose lines of text on the older versions.
We ended up using a big caption area to ensure this didn't happen, which looks silly on the latest versions of quicktime! Has anyone else found a more graceful way of dealing with this?
Just wanted to pass on the info for those who weren't aware.
