Triggering and mutli screen videos...

Hello I have a similar inquiry hat is relate to Jens thread about playing videos across two screen, here it goes.

I am creating visual content for a dance show in which I have two large video projections side by side. I am creating several QT movies that will be 1280x480 or 1600x600. I would like to playback the movies strectched across both projectors. I will also need to be able to setup triggers that will allow me to cross fade from one clip to the next predetemined clip. Someone mentioned that Director would be a good program to use for this. My question is would it be possible to program the movies in order and then use mouse clicks or the space bar to trigger the crossfade from one clip to the next without seeing anything on screen?

Also the content might be changing on a daily basis so would it be possible to swap QT's without taking a huge amount of time?

If not director then what could be used to do all this?

Any help? Thanks in advance.

Austin
