Re: H.264 tests, Cleaner 6.5 for Mac

Well, I just discovered a big boo boo in my initial tests at
http://video.conncoll.edu/h264/index.html
They are not fast-start, as I wanted.
In QuickTime Player Pro, I used the Optimized for Download video setting, thinking that now all movies exported are automatically made fast-start.
I did not notice that when you check off: Prepare for Internet Streaming, Fast Start is an option, and did not select it.
Sorry for the inconvenience to anyone trying to view the files on a slower connection.
Back to square one! I will re-encode them.

Has anyone measured or analyzed the difference in QT Player Pro between Optimized for: CD/DVD-ROM vs. Download vs. Streaming, and how this interacts with Multi-pass and Single-pass encoding?

Also, I notice my old friend Cleaner is making a comeback soon

Just as I was starting to look around for a replacement!
