AFAIK the HC3 uses regular HDV rather than the AVCHD format.
The answer is still no though. H.264 encoding is not a realtime
process on a CPU.
If it is HDV then of course QuickTime can open it if you have any of
the Pro apps installed (like DVD SP) because they install QuickTime
components for it.
