Not sure if it is good timing, bad timing or just timing but as I see
loads if entries about how crappy the video quality is on all the
flash based vlogging sites and a lot of talk about using the better h.
264 codec, my company just launched a MPEG-4 h.264 based vlogging
service at www.mdialogue.com.
You encode your movies client side using our desktop tool mLoader
which is a QT Based application. Here is a short list of some key
features that I hope the QuickTime users will like as well as the mp4
folks in general:
Client side mp4 h.264 encoding using QT technology (mac/pc).
Directly record from your Web or DV Cam into the mLoader desktop app.
Basically mLoader transcodes, describes and uploads your movie.
No limits on movie file size or length.
You organize your movies using a folder metaphor.
Integrated Instant Messaging and Movie Commenting.
I think the Internet based video market is still in it's infancy, as
the market grows and consumers demand more, people will step up and
video deliver to customers in ways that we can't even imagine yet.
Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
