I've read that there's no Javscript support in QT 7.1.5. Would that affect the use of GetRectangle()?

The plug-in's _javascript_ interface does work in QT 7.1.5.

What has changed is that the 7.1.5 plug-in will not send "_javascript_:" urls back to the browser.

IOW, you can still control the plug-in from _javascript_, but you can not ask it to control the browser.
