just wondering if anyone has feedback if Flip-4-Mac WMV QT component
messes up anything on OSX 10.4.9 computers.
My associate just got a brand new MacBook Pro, and Final Cut Express
was crashing on firewire capture until I took out the codec.
However, I also disabled Norton Antivirus (I never use it myself!),
and did not have time to chase down what variable was responsible.
So, has anyone had problems with Flip-4-Mac WMV QT component in video
production computers?
How about 'general use' non-video editing computers?
Finally, as Microsoft still distributes WMPlayer 9 for Macs, if you
have to be able to play WMV once in a while, what's the best route to
take? That will be least disruptive to other OSX apps.
