Thread-topic: QT video is all washed out on Windows XP
That's typically a driver issue in my experience, where the Y'CbCr range
of 16-235 isn't properly expanded to the RGB range of 0-255.

I find the same thing for video played in the Windows QT Player. In a
web browser, it looks fine.
I'd be interested in hearing the answer to this too.
