i quickly figured out that you really need a fast connection to host 10 or 20 users.

To serve users it is best to take the stream created by QT Broadcaster and reflect it from another machine for instance an XServe. Two machines would likely work quite nicely for a high school.

This list will undoubtedly be a valuable resource for your efforts.
