Re: QuickTime 7.6 is out



Muxed MPEG-1 files (usually .mpg) can now be exported to other formats, and they'll retain their audio. In the past, you'd get video but no audio. This is A Very Nice Thing (tm).

I'm not sure how, or if, the various mpeg-2 formats are impacted (program/transport streams, etc)... maybe someone else can chime in on that?
