Display sleep not disabled when viewing full screen html5 video in Safari

I understood that QuickTime disables power-saving display sleep when viewing full screen video. That appears to happen with QuickTime Player, anyway. And it's an important feature.

But I've noticed that Safari does not seem to do this. I've seen it happen on YouTube. (Non-flash video, of course). Can others confirm? Is it a bug?
