Re: quicktime-vr digest, Vol 2 #12 >> exposure problem w/ kodak dcs-315 camera

greetings all,

new to the list posting first msg ^^;;

i've found similar exposure irregularity problem with kodak dc290 zoom, i
know it's a consumer product. but i bet the problem arise from basically
same reason.
it happens, for me, when i shoot an object against white backdrop w/flash,
exposure is set for a fixed aperture (normaly f/5.6). i get coloured noise,
usually bluish/ greenish tint. and it is usually ok for the first 3~4 shots
and then tint appears as more shots being taken. i guess these kodak cameras
not able to truly 'lock' exposure. probably badly designed circuit design
that leaks out bad signals... in my case it's not something to do with
electrical signal or any other external affects b/c i shoot under controlled
lighting condition.
i also have nikon coolpix 950 however it rarely produce exposure
irregularity as much as dc290.
i'm thinking of leasing nikon D1. does anyone know of any exposure problem?
i've sent out a email to customer support regarding the subject and waiting
for kodak's explaination. i'll share when and if they reply~
