We use the Panoscan with the 16mm for our cubic's. See some of our examples at

The upside, NO stitching, instant preview of your equirectanglar image, hi-res
quality, multiply exposures that are registered, great controls for exposure in
the interface.
Downside, Its not the greatest for freezing action, some chroma shift at the
top and bottom of the image.
