i have faith that the QT team will fix this in a hopefully timely manner,
but i do want to stress (again) that it is not as innocuous as it seems. it
presents a serious UI problem, especially when used in movie tracks or
javascript windows which don't show the user the download status. it is
likely inexperienced users will assume that something is wrong (well,
something more wrong than is wrong. ;>)... not to mention kinda defeats the
whole purpose behind fast-start.
regards.
