CoolPix 995 question

i recently purchased a Nikon CoolPix 995 digital camera. my question
is...does anyone have a high amount of picture being blurry? i am talking
about straight shots that are hand-held not off tri-pod. i know i may not
have the steadiest hand, but it seems like way too many are blurry. i just
wanted to know if this is normal with hand-held shots or if i should return
my possible 'lemon'.
