Hi Robert,
I use several products to create panos on both the Mac and Pc, VR Toolbox is
one of them. I have found that VR Toolbox currently only works on Windows
98 -- a new version is being released in Jan. that works on Windows 2000. I
have used VR Toolbox on a pc machine with good results for both panos and
objects.
You need to have a fairly fast processor and also LOTS of RAM to get good
results.
In addition, VRToolbox doesn't like REALLY HUGE images -- you may need to
size down the images before creating your panos if you've shot images with a
really high resolution.
It does not, as far as I can tell, make cubic panoramas yet. It is possible
that the updated version of it will.
I can post some of the panos I have built on the pc and send you a link --
VRToolbox is probably not my favorite program for building panos, but it
does work and with basically the same results as on the pc.
Hope this helps!
