You completely miss the point Loren. People feel that if Apple has
abandoned QTVRAS as it seems they have then how long will it be before
its support within Quicktime is dropped ? It doesn't matter how many
third party apps or developers there are if there is no platform on
which to view it.
We as developers still need to partition Apple, even if it is only to
get them to continue the development of QTVR playback within Quicktime.
It seems that the VR component was updated with QT6.1.1 which shows
that at least for now we are safe.

Or license/sell its source code to some other company that might be
interested in producing QTVRAS-X
Ya know... there are 2 OS X compliant authoring tools already, VR Worx
and RealViz Stitcher. If everyone were to support these developers,
they could do a lot more of what we are asking for.
One of these days, everyone will come to the conclusion that Apple is
NOT going to do an update to QTVRAS, and make the move to support 3rd
party developers instead of whining about the lack of support from
Apple.
Get over it folks, its NOT going to happen.
