You completely miss the point Loren. People feel that if Apple has abandoned QTVRAS as it seems they have then how long will it be before its support within Quicktime is dropped ? It doesn't matter how many third party apps or developers there are if there is no platform on which to view it.
We as developers still need to partition Apple, even if it is only to get them to continue the development of QTVR playback within Quicktime. It seems that the VR component was updated with QT6.1.1 which shows that at least for now we are safe.
