Why design an object that might require a plugin download and be problematic for many PC users when it can be designed so everyone can see it. Flash also allows you to be creative and add so much more to the design...Check out the Nikon D100 object to see what I mean.

Dave,
Very good examples of Flash and QTVR, especially the panoramas. I liked the ability to compare the same pano in both Flash and QT format in your badlands tour! However, when I view all of your Flash Object VRs, I cannot seem to control the direction or speed of the object rotation. The frames flip by very quickly whenever my mouse wanders close to the image as well. I know part of this effect is due to the degree of seperation between your columns, but is there any way for Flash to lower this speed? By moving my cursor up or down I can view the multiple rows, but without the click-and-drag control of direction and speed, the "interactive" part of the experience is gone. Is this a limitation of how the VRs were made in Flash, or part of how Flash displays the frames?

BTW, the last time I checked, Flash 5 is a plugin that may need to be downloaded just like QuickTime. It is included with some versions of Windows now, but it isn't as ubiquitous as Java.
