One method that you could try is using High Dynamic Range (HDR) software
to expand the dynamic range of your image,
I have Photomatix HDR software available for demo download

You basically shoot additional exposures over and under exposed. These
additional exposures expose shadow and highlight detail and are combined
within the HDR software to create a larger dynamic range within your
image.
As a Be Here reseller, I suggest that Be Here users use a manual
infinity focus at f/8. You must make sure that your camera stays in
registration between shots. A cable release or careful handling of your
camera is essential.
Once you have your HDR image, work within photoshop with a combination
of unsharp mask, lightness, saturation etc. (everyone has their own
unique method for image manipulation in Photoshop !)
