Objects in Flash - link to tutorials?

I have really enjoyed looking at all the posts on different techniques for
flash objects as well as panos. What I did not find is a tutorial on what
are some good software options to author with (other than mention of Live
Motion) and tutorial on techniques. My flash tools are current versions of
Adobe Illustrator, Go Live, old version of Live Motion.

I'm just getting ready to redo my website from scratch. I have a qtvr
object of my qtvr pan rig that I want to put on my website as a cute
interactive element kind of like the Pixar lamp.
On top of this page

I'll crop the tripod and have it growing out above or below horizontal
navigation bar. I could use Flash, also thinking maybe can use a remote
mouse over effects so that as I click on elements the camera seems to point
to them? Then I guess there is also panoviewer option but I have only used
it for panos. I would not mind using QT if I could have the page setup to
defult to something else if they don't have QT.

I don9t want to have it spinning like an animated gif because that will get
annoying, I just want it to move when they interact with it or the site.

I know I'm making this too complicated but it is relly a learning to for
more practical application of my other panos and objects.

Thanks again for all the great examples for me the variable speed approach
on used on the motorcycle was the most natural experience, then maybe a
absolute approach, but I did not like the ones that I seemed to lose control
over as a viewer of the object.
