Here it is for the Canon10D plus 8mm, and kaidan spherical pano head

1) Manual exposure, locked ISO, locked white balance, autofocus though.
2) Six photos every 60 degrees, this gives a good final overlap
3) One photo up for zenith
4) Use Defish to process the images into rectinular rather than fisheye, general setting FOV 170, prespective option with HFOV 90 and VFOV 120, errr this was a blind guesss on my first try of processing, and it worked, this expains why I don't use PTMac or the rest, I don't know what I am doing with the settings.....
5) Realviz Stitcher 3.5.2 then takes the 7 images, and further processes them with a high distortion correction, if I knew what I was doing with Defish then this wouldn't be necessary, because the correction is very slight.
6)Stitcher then blends the images together, on my PC this takes 60 secs to do this.
7) Export as equirectangular (spherical) 6000x3000, tif with normal sharpening
8) In Photoshop add bottom with an automated action, and look for errors to heal, save as tif
9)Make Cubic converts equirectangular into .mov with Photo JPG 50% setting.

Done, this takes about 15 mins from camera to .mov, Defish and MakeCubic on my Mac and Realviz and Stitcher on my PC, using a shared drive.

Hope that helps.

Jook, That is fanastic, reallly good use of why we want QTVR, that lobby is amazing space.

I did not though there is a lot of noise in the shadows. Is this the S2 or the jpg compression?

Karl
