A talk with a Client
Client:
The Quicktime VRs look very good but I am afraid people will not see it
because they do not have Macs. We heard that you can view them in Java or
Flash which is much more common.
The clever photographer:
Quicktime is already installed on at least 45% of all computers on the
internet. And not all Windows users have JAVA.
Java is not installed as standard on Windows computers any more.
They have to download it and it is a larger download than Quicktime.
May I ask, you do you use PDF files on your site?
Client:
Oh yes they are great , we use them for all our datapages.

I suppose you know that they need a special software to view them.
Client:

Only on Macs. PC users may have to download the Acrobate Reader and the
smallest version is an 8,7 mb download. The full version is 15.9 mb
Client:
Good heaven, 16mb, well I suppose people could install Quicktime
if we tell them it is better.
How big is it actually.
The clever photographer:
To view the standard QTVR they only need a 5,2 mb download.
The full version is maximum 11 mb.
Client: Lets go for the Quicktime version .
