My experience has been the same here in Canada Dennis. Most people just don't understand their computer as well as we would all like and so get frustrated when they have to install software. I use Java for my Real Estate clients but still try to use QuickTime for higher end work. Quicktime really is a betty product but the download is just nuts! It would be nice if apple worked on a plug-in solution like Flash - it seems odd that Macromedia can get their product on everybody's computer but Apple can't. Perhaps Apple should look into a plug-in only version without the player etc so it is an easy install?
