It also lets you add video to a VR. But not to Cubes... And cubes are
almost standard.
Using the new component you can add a video to a Pano and have it stay
at a specific location (no pixels shift). It also takes the proper
correction of the VR. Anyone want to add a video over a TV screen
inside a VR? :-)
Cubic are not supported because QuickTime do not have a back-buffer for
them. Thus it is technically impossible to do
Concerning the "low" quality during the AutoPan, this is now possible
due to the new action added:
This actions allows you to change during playback the:
- Correction of the VR (Full, partial, none)
- Change the quality of the VR (min, low, normal, high, max)
- Change the DirectDraw.
You can also specify which modes you want to affect (Static, motion,
both).
I've listed below the new QTVR actions available (of course the
previous actions are still valid and working):
We believe that with this new set of actions and the previous ones,
developers can now truly create advance, complex and very interesting
projects.

On the LiveStage Pro mail list, Gui has informed us that one
of the features of the just released versions of LSP will
allow
authors to set the quality to "low" during an autopan so
that the panning will be smooth, just like when you pan
with the mouse. I know many of us have wished to be able
to do this. So run out and get that LSP upgrade!

Woohoo!
