How to create high resolution/quality fullscreen qt panos?

Hiya!

It's the 1st time I'm writing to this list and I'd like to know how to
create high resolution fullscreen qtvr panos.
Until now I created 360deg panos with my Nikon CP5700/FC E9 using
Panoweaver. Small panos are really good, but I've done a few fullscreen
cubic panos with it, and I must admit that the quality is *very* bad -
compared to the fullscreen panos seen on <http://vrm.vrway.com/>
http://vrm.vrway.com/ or <http://www.panoramas.dk/d60>
http://www.panoramas.dk/d60.

I do already own a D60 and a Sigma 17-35mm.

As I read on Hans Nyberg's D60 site, he's using his D60 with a Sigma 8mm
fisheye and he has taken the pics for the fullscreen panos by hand shot! ( I
had a hard time to find the nodal point for my CP5700 ... )

Ok, afaik there are several possibilities creating high quality fs panos.
- With my D60 and Sigma 8mm fisheye
- With D60 or CP5700 with wide angle lense

I think with my 3 shot fisheye technic, I'm loosing too many information,
because the pic from the fisheye is only a little part of the whole pic -
even if I use 5 megapixels...

Here is a little bit info about how the pics for this pano are taken:
http://vrm.vrway.com/issue15/INSIDE_A_WIND_TUNNEL_ONERA_S_S1CH.html

He used a CP5000 and WC68 in combination with Stitcher 3.5

Well, I prefer to use my D60 then the CP5700 ;-)

Can someone give me a "howto" to create these fullscreen qtvr panos with my
D60?
Do I need a new lense or will my 17-35mm be fine?
Which software do you recommend?
Is a head like the Manfrotto 303SPH necessary?

Hope to hear from you!

Greetings,

Sven =)
