I know this topic has been discussed many times before. How to protect your QTVR file. I know the discussion would always end that no method is 100% and any protection can be hacked. But I personally am frustrated from this. I reach an agreement with a client to use my qtvr for a certain time and a renewal fee has to be paid for further use. The client continues to use it longer than what has been agreed. Sounds familiar? Is it worth it to write a QT script that blocks, disables or shows: "Pay up!" when the qtvr is opened after a certain date. Plus a 'save disable' protection and I think it is not a bad combination. I know that if you use the demo version of vrhotwires and you produce a QT movie with it. The movie will work until a certain date and then it won't.... So is it worth doing or is it a waste of time in the end?
