Looks like a very interesting new approach! However, I noticed that depending on the camera body used (distance from mount point to the center of lens), the entrance pupil (nodal point) could be *off* of the rotation center. In the product photos it shows the Nikon D100 (no grip, no plate) at the maximum horizontal adjustment point! If the horizontal slide is limited, as in these photos, this could make it difficult to use a battery grip or larger Kodak or Fuji body. Also, I would prefer the QR plate on the platform to be Arca-compatible, but that's just me.

Aside from this, it makes me wonder if anyone wants to buy my barely used Manfrotto 303SPH?
