re: PSP 2 from Sony, what's the story?

I've seen one. The screen is pretty incredible, it is so sharp and the whole device is pretty small. I watched part of the spiderman 2 movie on one w/ one of those little miniature dvd disks, the display is a big jump beyond previous handheld game devices. I am sure making it play 3d accelerated panoramas would be trivial for a programmer that develops for this platform.

Brian Greenstone has game dev experience, perhaps he could shed some light on how much work it would be.
