Dear All,

I want to play back a QuickTime VR .mov file, panning around, etc. as normal. At the same time, for any given orientation and zoom, I need to process the image before displaying it on the screen (I want to apply a custom alpha map which depends on the FOV, PAN and TILT). I am using Windows Server 2003 and MS Visual Studio .NET 2003. I have downloaded the QuickTime SDK already, but it's somewhat overwhealming!

I thought that one of the samples e.g. simpleplayersdi.win might be amenable to being modified to accomplish this. Can anyone suggest how I might go about this? All hints, tips, URL's, ... gratefully received.
