The Ikea stuff was done by a company in the Netherlands called KOKOKAKA
http://www.kokokaka.com/
There are many different examples of their work on their website, 99% for
Ikea.
We are in the middle of doing a set at the moment, which will be released
for www.beyondbargrill.com in August 07, which is being re-opened in a few
weeks as a Burlesque type Moulin Rouge kind of bar.
We are doing a very similar effect, but through the middle of the dance
floor with the dance floor packed and set in different music styles and a
corporate event.
We are using 50 cameras, but KOKOKAKA used 100 (if you count the frames in
flash, by just taping the mouse). 50% of what you see in KOKOKAKA’s work is
CGI, as if you move to the extremes of each shot, which is where you would
see the cameras, there is some very poor CGI work, but as the mind is so
distracted at other parts of the image, you don’t see it. Also things like
the champagne cork popping etc are CGI, which is done very well, but not too
difficult to produce with a standard 3D package such as 3D studio max or
Lightwave.
By careful though as the whole process is under a strict Patent by Digital
Air http://www.virtualcamera.com/license.html who invented it. People think
it was invented by the matrix movie producers, but it wasn’t, in fact they
were years behind when it was made, they just used it for the first time in
the public and took all the glory.

Hi,
This is great stuff, I've spent a long time looking through the images. I
wander how much all this cost to produce ???

Subject: ikea kitchens
Hi,
Someone has been asking me to find out more about the Ikea kitchen shots.
Who did them? Who does them? Etc etc.
http://demo.fb.se/e/ikea/dreamkitchen/site/default.html
Any info greatly appreciated.
Andrew.
