Re: QuickTime-VR Digest, Vol 4, Issue 214

The VR Worx will not author cubics in the panorama module, but the scene module WILL link and make transitions for cubic panos:

This was done using the latest VR Worx, which is PC and OSX compatible.

VR Worx has the capability of authoring transitions between nodes.

Hi folks,

I made a multinode of a baroque beautiful church, and now an tryng
to have transitions between nodes. I'm using VRHotwire but tha
application crashes very often.

What's your opinion about the state of the art in linking nodes?

Best Regards

Domenico Perrone

Yes, but not the cubic ones.

VR worx does nearly everything except it doesn't
support spherical vrs or sound in panos. I did add
sounfd to a standard pano using QT pro and opened the
pano in Worx, it opened it, [played it thwen bugged
out.

Wrong

VRWorx supports cubic as scenes and as far as I can see from the Demo
it also supports transitions between them.
I can not save them as I only have the Demo but it works fine in
preview.
I believe also the old version for OS9 supported it. I have an old
VRWorx I can try on my G5

VRWorks does not have any support for sound.
Cubic Connector (Mac) has it.

And if a multinode scene has a map (from cubic connector) does VRWorks add transitions?

I do not think you can import a scene from CubicConnector to VRWorx. But try it out. The download demo is free and fully functional but you can not export the final movie. Just see it in preview
