Well I don't have a Intel Mac but I have had some issues with the QT
preferences and viewing flash movies. Basic linear ones.
On the first level is the 'enable flash' which is Flash 5 tracks within a
.mov
Deep down in mime types misc. is 'Flash Media', meaning .flv, flash panos
and most stuff that's on the web right now.
Gives me ?QT logo when you're trying to look at flash stuff with 7.2.
I don't recall this with previous versions of QT.
Is this a new QT preference? Or a change in the default QT preference
settings? Can someone with a previous version of QT check the mime types
misc. for a Flash Media setting.
Here's the rub.
If this is set to 'on' as default in 7.2. (which I believe it is) it is
'hijacking' flash media and not allowing the flash player to play flash
media, as it did with my machine.

Can you confirm?
