Re: FujiFilm S5 Pro Tour Samples

Does anyone have any sample links to virtual tours taken with a FujiFilm S5 Pro and Nikkor 10.5mm lense? I'm trying to decide between the FujiFilm S5 Pro and the Nikon D200 (+ 10.5mm Nikkor lense).

I use the S5 Pro and 10.5mm lens. The panoramas I have online have been produced with size in mind (and I haven't applied any sharpening), so some may not seem as crisp as particularly high-res full-screen panos, but they might be of some interest.

Try http://www.thehelpful.com/photos/v/glade07/Glade+Stage+afternoon.mov.html to start with.
Also browse through the rest of http://www.thehelpful.com/photos/ to see some others.

(This is a halfway stage between a proper album setup and a 'photo dump' location. I wish it was a little more pano-friendly with full-screen options, but it is okay for basic use.)

Some things I really like about the S5 Pro are the quality of the colour (well, I always liked Fuji film too ;-) and the excellent low light performance. Noise is pleasingly low at medium to high ISO levels, and when it does start to become noticable it feels a little more like film grain than digital noise.

I haven't made any specific tests regarding the dynamic range (supposedly getting close to film levels), but subjectively it seems pretty good.
