Recently we released a desktop utility for Mac OS X called
"TabMeister", and with the new version 2.0 we added some special
features, one of which is a "VR Panorama" viewer. Basically, the
user clicks the icon and it picks a random VR panorama from a list
and then displays it full-screen using OpenGL. It's based on the
same code that's in our PanoPreviewer and PangeaVR plug-ins.
Anyway, right now this neat little Panorama viewer just shows
panoramas that I've created and put on my panomundo.com site,
however, the list of panoramas that it shows can be updated to
display any pano from any site. So, if you would like to have some
of your panos added to the database, I'd be happy to add them for the
world to see. All I need is the URL to the equirectangular jpeg file
and a 1 line text description of what you would like the caption
under the panorama to read. Since the panoramas are displayed full-
screen, the equirectangular images should be no less than 4000 pixels
wide, and they must be full 360x180ยบ panos. For the text
description, I recommend something along the lines of "New York
Skyline, by Bob Smith, www.bobsmith.com". Keep it simple since it
needs to fit on one line under the pano when it is displayed.
