PanoPreviewer 2.0 is now a Universal Binary plug-in, so it will run
with Photoshop CS3 on
either a PowerPC or Intel based Macintosh computer. It is also
backwardly compatible with
Photoshop CS2. Updating the plug-in took longer a very long time, so
unlike the older
version of PanoPreviewer, version 2.0 is no longer free, sorry. The
new version will run in
a demo mode until a serial number is purchased for $19.95, and that
money will help fund
future efforts and updates.
For those unfamiliar with PanoPreviewer, it is a Photoshop plug-in
that allows you to
instantly preview your equirectangular panoramas as VR movies right
there in Photoshop.
It uses OpenGL to render the panorama, so the motion is as fluid as
it gets! No longer do
you have to constantly export your equirectangulars to some other
application to see how
they really look. Now with the click of the mouse you can see
exactly what it looks like in
a VR environment.
PanoPreviewer is only available for Mac OS X.
