Microsoft just release their free "Power Shell" for automating Windows tasks.

I use ScriptBasic (www.scriptbasic.org - LGPL open source project I manage)
for most tasks / utilities I need in a hurry. (Windows & *nix)

Powershell is quite nice, all things considered, but in and of itself it doesn't address what I'm looking for - it's the glue, I'm looking for the meat!


If I were to port this project to Windows, it's what I'd use to tie my toolbox together.
