Re: Trafalgar Square London

Just came across this on the BBC website, it would be great to see a 360 pic
of it - anyone got one ?

I'm going up to shoot it in about 15 minutes. It looks totally surreal

And surreal it was, although also really cool (literally, when I went barefoot) and lots of fun. I took a few pano photo sets but only stitched one so far. It is the bottom on at http://www.thesmallest.com/vr/. (I must think of a good way to split that page up soon...)

I love how much social interaction there was going on there. I think this pano managed to capture some sense of that - there are the exchange students climbing up beside me, the small boy waving from up on the wall and his mum laughing down below, others reading or sleeping, wandering around chatting, and of course all sorts of cameras from compact digital ones to SLR Hasselblads.
