Photography Petition
The UK Government is about to propose restrictions on photography in public
places, promoting the requirement for 'ID' cards to allow photographers to
operate, which could make street photography and documentary photography
against the law, this would mean students, especially those on Art courses
taking photographs for research and work.
There's a petition on the Downing Street website (one of 3630 different
ones!) against the Government's proposals to restrict the use of photography
in public areas.
To sign up go to the following website; there were 60,000 signatures when I
last looked.
Closing date is 14 August 2007.
