I agree with that Keith..my point was more that the UK photographic
community looked ill-informed, un-educated and reactive as a result of 60k
signatures to the petition.

I think the Govt's been clever here. People signing the e-Petitions will
think it IS doing something and will feel like they've been proactive. I
doubt that the Govt actually looks at the petitions at all, and it's just
another way to keep the masses happy!
