By you were very lucky, we saw the turf on Friday (25th may) lunch time and
you couldn’t see any of the grass, as so many people were sat on it. The
fact there was a mini heatwave on that day as well, didn’t help with crowds.
It was only the second time in my life I have been to london (as I live in
the North East and was there to see a client), and decided to leave all my
camera gear at home with it being bank holiday weekend, but then thought
Doh!! when I saw the turf, thinking nobody else would have captured it.
I think I need to get out of bed earlier in the morning to beet you guys
though lol.

Thanks for the prompt Pete and Hans, the event wasn't very well
publicised. I've finally got my Trafalgar Square pano online. It
was taken at 5:45 am.
