Looks good!
Some feedback on the demo:
(Using Safari, on Mac 10.4.11)
I don't like that the view follows the mouse, without dragging. You can't get the mouse out of the window, without spinning all over the place. Because of this mousing behavior, one cannot even mouse down to the toolbar at the bottom, without spinning the view.
The acceleration rate of rotation, away from center, seems too high. The view gets spinning way too fast, way too easily.
The transport control for the spherical videos does not follow conventional operations well. The back/forward behaves erratically, with no "go to beginning" button. The drag-the-timeline strip does not behave well either.
Otherwise, the rendering and responsiveness seems very nice!
Thanks,
-Rick
