Re: VRs on iPod Touch

the PangeaVR viewer is great but you do need to be "connected". I envision being able to show people ANYwhere, whether or not WiFi is available, my panos on the iPod.

This is definitely a very important point for me too. I have an iPhone, and I just spent the weekend deep in the countryside shooting panos in a major dance music festival. I wasn't able to show anyone my existing panos (from previous festivals and clubs) on Pangea VR, because the mobile phone networks were totally saturated by everyone trying to make calls. Even voice calls failed nine times out of ten during the day and evenings, and any data access was a total washout.

I love being able to browse through different panorama portfolios, but what I really want this for - and would pay for - is the ability to store my own panos on my iPhone so I can use it to show people my stuff, whenever and wherever I might be: on the London Underground, in an airplane, or in a promotor's caravan in the middle of a field filled with dancing fools. :-)
