CubicConnector only supports 1 soundfile.
If you have the old Sound SAVR (for OS9) you can ad several audio files.
Ahh. Dang, Classic. Won't work on my MacBook Pro, and I'm not keen on
a solution that only works on my old G5.
You can also do this with FPP using the mp3hotspots plugin.
I bought FPP some months ago - but I've found it to be very difficult
to get my teeth into. The documentation is thin and I can't find any
mention of the mp3hotspot plugin anywhere other than in a few posts
in the forum. No announcement that I could see, no blog post... where
on earth do people go to find out how to use FPP? Just the supplied
tutorials?
And where can I find the mp3hotspot plugin?
Sorry for the sudden barrage of questions!
Directional sound with CubicConnector should work fine, Have not
seen any problem with that.
Just tested it with an mp3 file. Works fine in 10.4.11 + QT 7.4.1
Strange. :-(
Mac OS X 10.4.11
QuickTime 7.4
CubicConnector 2.0.9
160kbps MP3 file, seven seconds long
Launched CubicConnector, dropped the QTVR movie in as a single node,
went to Audio, dropped in the MP3 file, switched it to directional,
exported movie.
The movie plays the audio and lets me navigate, panning the sound as
expected. When the clip gets to the end, instead of looping it stops
and the movie goes white. This happens in Safari and QuickTime Player.
