Hi All
I'm not sure if I ruffled any feathers there, but I wasn't saying it as a
negative opinion, I was actually pointing it out to try and help improve
your sales and marketing.
Many people believe that the USA Market is huge, which it is, but its no
where near as big as Europe never mind Asia.
3902 Million people in Asia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asia
1120 Million people in India http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India
712 million people in Europe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe
303.5 Million people in the USA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States
I believe most of Asia use metric, especially the more affluent of Japan,
Hong Kong and China. And don't forget most other continents/countries that
we all in the west think of as being behind the times are catching up quick,
if not quicker than many parts of Europe, Asia and the states with their
technical abilities, internet access and awareness.
So to target a newsletter, news shot, review or PR stunt with a measurement
that only the USA uses, I find a little ignorant and wasteful in your own
resources.
But like I said, I wasn't trying to be negative; I was just pointing
something out that I see constantly on the internet on almost every webpage
you view and hoping that it may change a few mind sets.
Regards
Ian

Listmembers,
I do wish to point out that the product itself has both metric and
decimal inch markings on the linear axes.
http://www.kaidan.com/Detail.bok?no=160
Of course, we use degree markings for the rotational axes and decided
against using fractional inch markings ;-)
We'll update the specs on the web and elsewhere to include metric
weights and measures.
Best regards,
Jim
