PanoTools Community Members,
I'm in the process of moving PanoTools.info to 'Google Sites'. The goal of
the PanoTools group in the beginning was to create a free resource for
panorama photographers that wouldn't be controlled by vendors or private
interests. With Google's new 'Sites' offering, the tools are now available
to have a wiki, mailing list and file repository under one roof. The new
PanoTools site will run on Google resources and uses the Google search
engine for site searches. I have Google Groups integrated into the site
which will be a self-moderated mailing list. (without the mile long footer
tags)

I currently have http://www.panoramatools.info as a frame forwarded URL
pointing to the site. As soon as the wiki and other http://panotools.info
resources are moved to Google, I will frame forward the PanoTools.info URL
also.
I have a few examples of wiki pages on the site. (see site map) Creating
pages is nothing more then a copy/paste using the online editor. (no wiki
markup) I will try and clean up the wiki pages as I move them and the
navigation by default will be much more intuitive using the tree and list
views provided.
I would like this new resource to be managed by well known members of the
PanoTools community. (vendors need not apply) I think a fresh set of 'new'
faces that have the time and the will to take the PanoTools community to the
next level is needed. If you feel you have the respect and trust of the
community and would like to contribute your time to manage these resources,
please contact me off line.
I can only hope the PanoToolsNG group will follow this lead and migrate off
their private server and contribute to this common PanoTools community
resource.
