Jook
all comments from you always grab my attention. Thank you for shearing your
experience here.
This time I was closely following discussion about shooting VR's with
monopod your way :-) it is great.
I have question about your comment:
>I like using the Canon 5D with a Tokina 10-17 and never got
>comfortable with a lighter setup of the Rebel XTi and Sigma 8. The
>vfov of the Tokina is greater than 180 while the Sigma is less than
>180 so with my Tokina panos, the zenith is always covered.
Here you sad that you are using Canon Eos 5D with Tokina 10-17. I have
looked up on Tokina web site detail about this lens 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 AT-X
107 DX and it is stated that it is ONLY for APS-C DSL cameras (like 450D,
40D...) and not for full frame cameras like 5D. So it can fit and work with
5D? FOV must be bigger than on the 450D?
I need to make enormous number of VR's (around 5000 to 8000) for project
like Goole street view. But I would like to have all of them high quolyt as
possible. All procedures must be automated. I am planning to use Agnos 3
camera head with 3x EOS 5D for one shot VR's. Initially set was planed with
3 x 5D+Sigma 8mm but now I am considering to use Tokina 10-17 instead. Any
suggestions?
